Bio

I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at UND. 

My research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, and corporate innovation. A central theme in my work examines how corporate boards' monitoring and advising roles shape firm innovation and performance.

Prior to joining UND, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at UNC Charlotte. I have taught corporate finance classes at the undergraduate level and received a Teaching Excellence Award from Virginia Tech, where I completed my PhD in Finance in 2022.
